Services Overview

Braithwaite McDonnell have a wealth of experience gained through delivering many projects and portfolios of projects and programmes, in areas such as application and infrastructure solutions, service outsourcing, office relocation and business change.

Our experience has been gained across sectors as diverse as legal services, financial services, government and media.

We provide the following services:

  • Building Programme & Portfolio Management Capability:  Assisting organisations to implement and improve the governance of major programmes and large portfolios of projects.
  • Programme, Portfolio and Project Delivery: Experienced and expert consultants providing hands on management and delivery of key initiatives.
  • Audit & Benchmarking: Providing assurance that projects, programmes and functions are performing well, identifying areas that requires additional focus and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Strategic planning: recommending and shaping programmes of work to deliver desired business outcomes.

When providing the above services, we ensure that best practice based methodologies, processes and tools are implemented and that effective knowledge transfer is undertaken.

Jon Braithwaite, founder, leads almost all of our engagements as principal consultant. However, a key benefit of our 11 years experience is that we have built up a pool of trusted consultants whom we also engage where their key skills and experience in specific areas will add value. The quality of our consultants, together with our in-house experience, is a major strength and differentiator for our firm.

Simon Earnshaw, September 2009
IT Director, Dickinson Dees LLP

"Jon Braithwaite combines patient coaching with a clear focus on process in a way that challenges teams and the organisations that they work for to manage projects more effectively."

Peter Owen, May 2007
IT Director, Eversheds LLP, Managing Director, Lights-On Consulting LTD

"Jon Braithwaite is an excellent programme and project manager. He took a disorganised, extensive set of unmanaged projects, built a project management team up and then sorted the projects into a clear programme establishing a sound project office and delivering projects on time and to budget."
